Kristina Beene, APN

Nurse Practitioner

Kristina Beene began her nursing career in 2001 working full time with chronically ill children. Her robust nursing career exposed her to a broad patient base including infants & children, pregnant women and adults. In 2015, Ms. Beene completed her Master’s Degree from Tennessee State University School of Nursing. She began her career as a Nurse Practitioner working in integrated facilities which combine multiple provider types and a non-drug/non-surgical approach to pain. She is excited to continue her career with the team at Magnolia Medical Center. In her spare time, Ms. Beene enjoys outdoor activities and time spent with her family.

David Morris

Chiropractor & Functional Medicine Practitioner

David P. Morris, DC, is a chiropractic doctor at Magnolia Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Dr. Morris takes an integrated and holistic approach to care, focusing on a patient’s whole health, not just their symptoms or disease.

After earning his Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Morris, DC, spent many years in both private and group practices where he worked with medical doctors, surgeons, physician assistants, physical therapists, and nurse practitioners. Because of his multidisciplinary experience, Dr. Morris specializes in family practice and treating difficult cases where patients benefit from multiple providers sharing information and coordinating treatment to help reduce or discontinue medication and avoid surgery.

To further his skill set and help his patients achieve overall health and well-being, Dr. Morris is studying to receive his certification in functional metabolic medicine. Dr. Morris is passionate about making a difference in health care today and providing patients with the best care available.

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Morris enjoys studying, playing golf, and spending time with his wife, Karen, and children, Connor, Gabe, Charlotte, and Samantha.

Hilary Morrison, PA-C

Hilary Morrison has been a board-certified Physician Assistant since 2015. A native Ohioan, she received her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Shawnee State University prior to moving to TN and earning her Master’s Degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. After beginning her career, Ms. Morrison quickly became aware that the disease-centered approach of conventional medicine is failing. This led her to seek a career in functional medicine in which she can better provide patient-centered care. She is passionate about finding the root cause of illness and maximizing the body’s innate healing powers. In her free time, Ms. Morrison enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling with her husband, Seth.

Jamison Cramer, DC

Dr. Jamison Cramer, DC graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in 2018 and shortly after began working as a Chiropractor in Tennessee. He has additional certifications in functional rehabilitation and functional medicine. Dr. Jamison is dedicated to high quality patient care and believes in treating the underlying cause of dysfunction. He currently resides in East Nashville with close family in Franklin, TN. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, snow skiing, and spending time with friends and family.

Angela Huckaby, IN-HC

Integrative Nutrition Health Coach

Angela Huckaby has lived in Middle Tennessee for the past 20 years and is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City where she received her certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She is passionate about helping people regain their health and learn about how to make healthy eating choices. Angela has been with Magnolia Medical Center since 2012 where she has been able to help staff and patients with a number of health conditions. When not at work, Angela loves to spend time with her family. She is a mother of two beautiful girls ages 3 months and 13 years old. Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, swimming, and kayaking.

Karen Morris, IN-HC

Integrative Nutrition Health Coach

Karen Morris grew up in the midwest, but traveled South for college. She graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga. with a Bachelor of Arts in English and decided to stay in the Atlanta area. She worked in non-profits for years before relocating to Middle Tennessee as the Office Manager for Magnolia Medical Center. Her passion for helping others led her to receive her Health Coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Karen works in the office as a Patient Educator and Health Coach and never misses an opportunity to help someone step firmly on the road to health and wellness. Karen and her husband David live in Smyrna, Tn. where they are raising two daughters, Charlotte and Samantha. Her hobbies include cooking, reading and camping.

Melanie Cody, APN

Nurse Practitioner

Melanie Cody is a Family Nurse Practitioner originally from Louisville, KY. She obtained her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Nursing in 2014 and 2018, respectively, from the University of Arizona. Upon receiving her Doctorate, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner in a family practice clinic and realized that the focus of traditional medicine had shortcomings, and limited her ability to build a strong connection with her patients. This led her to seek a career in Functional Medicine. She has a true passion for treating patients holistically while practicing a patient-empowered model of healthcare. In her free time, Melanie enjoys hiking, reading, watching football, and exploring new places with her husband, Michael, and her Mini Australian Shepherd, Oakleigh.

Brittany Harris

Brittany Harris, a Tennessee native, was born and raised in Murfreesboro. Attending Middle Tennessee State University, Brittany earned her Bachelor’s of Science in nursing in 2015 followed by her Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2020. While working as a registered nurse she cared for many different types of patients from the beginning to the end of life— and all the stages in between. Throughout that care, her passion evolved from traditional medical care to a more specialized and holistic treatment for her patients. Harris currently resides in Christiana, TN with her husband Michael, son Henry and their two toy Australian shepherds (Milli & Piper). In her spare time she enjoys reading, going to the beach, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.
